Victims Services is part of the NSW Attorney General’s Department and consists of Victims Compensation Tribunal, Victims of Crime Bureau and the Families and Friends of Missing Persons Unit. The Witness Assistance Service (WAS) is a part of the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) and is staffed by professionally qualified workers.
